# Generate & Download Private Key

1\. On your Firebase Console (<https://console.firebase.google.com>) and with your project selected, click the newly created app icon.

2\. Click the gear icon to open app settings.

3\. Go to the "Service accounts" tab.

4\. Click "Generate new private key".

5\. Click "Generate key" and save the file.
